The British berry season is about to start, why should people buy British berries in season?

The wonderful thing about British berries is their sweetness, fantastic texture and depth of flavour. Buying British berries ensures we are supporting local farmers and also means the fruit is at its freshest arriving into supermarkets soon after being picked which means you get the best quality and flavour you can find.

How do you use berries in your restaurants?

I love to use berries in many diverse ways from in puddings, wonderfully rich tasting condiments and they are delicious in game dishes. Or just serve them straight from the punnet with fresh British cream and a sprinkling of sugar.

What makes British strawberries and raspberries so special?

Only British berries have that wonderful texture that I have never found anywhere else. There are so many different varieties of strawberries and raspberries, which means they are available through the summer months and provide a great variety of textures and flavours.

Which berry is your favourite?

Raspberries (wow) they are mother natures very own confectionary.
